Fulfilled all the needs and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The customization to reports based on different needs via filters is a big win. Dynamic report generation is one of the heavily used functionality and works really well. iReports plays a key role in creating or customizing the report. Overall it's superfast and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization of a report templated for multiple functionalities is little difficult in dynamic reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting reports generated for daily schedules for nurses and physicians, managing their payroll reports, attendance reports are some of the key functionalities. We are using lot more than that which includes roster generation, weekly/monthly work reports, holiday reports, etc.

Reliant on manual XML configuration (JasperReports Studio), featuring a steep learning curve and lacking the drag-and-drop agility and interactive experience of modern BI tools.

Complex Reporting Requirements Businesses need highly formatted, "pixel-perfect" reports (e.g., financial statements, regulatory documents) that require precise control over layout, branding, and data presentation. Manually designing these is time-consuming and error-prone.

Reuse layouts, styles, and components (charts, tables) to generate new reports in minutes instead of coding from scratch.

What do you like best about the product?
Jaspersoft is notable for its ease of access and maintenance. Many of its features are straightforward for developers to manage.
The mail scheduling option is highly beneficial, and the drag-and-drop functionality is intuitive. Additionally, the save and schedule features are easily accessible.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. The report fails to open, especially when there is a larger number of records. Additionally, the scheduled emails occasionally fail to be sent.
2. Even when attempting to export the report in PDF or XLSX formats, the process takes several hours to complete.
3. At times, we are unable to notice when a folder is dragged to a different location. In such cases, no confirmation popup is displayed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jaspersoft addresses our enterprise reporting needs by enabling automated scheduled report distribution and multi format exports (including XLSX and PDF), streamlining our data delivery processes and enhancing operational efficiency
Reliable product for reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I use Jasper Server to produce reports from my web application.
It's a reliable product and it offers lots of possibility, DB connections and debugging options.

Maybe the pathway to access the logs could be improved.

Report creation with desired requirement from customer, Jasper reports had that feasibility to design the reports based on the user requirement
as a devops engineer i found it a very easy way to insatll and use it.

Editing and creating input controls for multi-tenant configurations in Jasper takes more time.
There is a limitation on the number of records that can be loaded in reports—only the specified record count is allowed. Beyond that, it throws a 'number of rows exceeded' exception.

Supporting team Domenico D'Onofrio and Manali Jain are very helpful and responsive when needed.

Nothing to dislike, we are using Jasper for over 10 years as one of reporting tools in our company.
