He makes complicated and laborious things simple
What do you like best about the product?
Everything can be precisely solved graphically and if I don't want to "tidy up" ... I simply reach into the .XML output definition and finish it manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't load the print fonts into my Java applications, I have been trying to do it for a long time, I debugged(stepped) the JasperReport source code, but still the fonts won't load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create accompanying reports to numerical outputs in information systems, where I need to quickly find the output report for various input (agenda) tasks

Powerful solution with user-friendly interface and strong support
What do you like best about the product?
In my company, we were already familiar with the software, as we had previously used the free Community Edition. By switching to a commercial license, we not only received a top-notch product with all the functionalities, but we are also satisfied with the after-sales support. We are regularly contacted by authorized persons who help us use the full potential of the software and monitor how we are doing in working with the software.
Set-up installation was easy, and the software allows us to create and customize adequate number of roles and authorization levels, which is also very important.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are no significant downfalls. Everything works as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jaspersoft to deliver reports documents to our users when we need to have formatted, well-designed reports in word, excel or pdf format.

Jaspersoft enables the integration of data from multiple sources, making it easier to create comprehensive reports and dashboards. This addresses the challenge of siloed data within organizations.
I am a systems engineer and the install and setup are pretty painless - support is great
What do you like best about the product?
I can only speak from and installation and configuration perspective . It is pretty easy to install on a Linus env. Connects to multiple data enviroments we use MSL Server. Upgrades are easy. Support is pretty quick and easy to get. eays to enter cases and you get good support from those servicing those requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the loggin could be a little better - when investigating issues is to hard sometimes to find out what is going on from the logs.

Jaspersoft is the solution for the pixel-perfect report - both as an individual report or as a mass report - and also offers a bi-self service for the business user.
Reports are quickly implemented after a short learning phase. With HighCharts, modern charts can be inserted without any problems.
There is no data source that cannot be connected. This and the wide range of output formats and access via the REST API ensure seamless integration. Support is quick to respond.

What do you dislike about the product?
The graphical installer should only be used for demos, PoC and the development environments.
The current installation routine offers many configuration options to perfectly customise Jaspersoft to the requirements right from the installation.

Jaspersoft can be used to implement all reporting requirements. Either because requirements are already part of the scope of services or because custom code can be added as features.
We use Jaspersoft across all sectors. From an invoice to a packing list to a complex financial report, whose composition is completely data-driven, everything is possible.

Great Jaspersoft experience
What do you like best about the product?
Though we are still in the implementation phase of Jaspersoft in our software, it has not disappointed so far. Performance are better than other reporting tool we have tested. Customer support has been excellent so far. The software is not too complicated to use and generated reports look very good. We have had a couple of issues in the software that came up in our specific use cases and the technical support team has been extremely helpful providing us with custom software patches that made the solution fit our need perfectly. The Sales and Customer Success teams are frequently checking up on us to make sure we have everything that we need and not hitting any roadblocks with our implementation efforts. So great follow through on their part.

So far we have not found anything to dislike.

Jaspersoft is helping us design and generate PDF reports.

What do you like best about the product?
The team at TIBCO has offered great support in getting our product running. We have faced multiple roadblocks internally, including security constraints, infrastructure constraints, and a shortage of internal resources. TIBCO has been supportive through each of these issues and consistent in following up to offer assistance wherever possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues to report. The team has been outstanding to work with.

Jaspersoft is replacing a different report writing software that is no longer supported.
