Palo-Alto makes things easy
What do you like best about the product?
Palo Alto VM series is easy to install, implement and configure than legacy. It saves time and always user-friendly to analyze the traffic logs than other vendors(personal experience 😉)
What do you dislike about the product?
The support needs improvement, its really difficult sometimes to get PA support on troubleshooting calls which is actually important.
The sync between individual vm and panorama logs differs sometimes, this is something PA needs look into.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have set up Security policies, NAT, IPS and IDS which are the key features of any of the security products offers.
Packet capture is the best thing to see traffic analysis.

1st Exposure to Palo Alto for AWS
I'm very impressed with the product. There were quite a few hurdles to jump over and there are a few more to overcome but decided to purchase a license. It meets the short term security requirements for the cloud. Coming from an appliance world, the VM version has its quirks and some features are not supported.
