Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance, so your cost scales with the compute size you choose. The list spans burstable general-purpose instances (t2 and t3 families, from nano and micro up through 2xlarge), standard general-purpose instances (m3, m4, m5 large), compute-optimized instances (c3, c4, c5 large), and memory-optimized instances (r3, r4, r5 large). Larger or higher-performance instances carry higher hourly rates. Billing continues only while the instance runs, with no upfront commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension bills one running EC2 instance of that specific type, charged per hour. For example, the t3.micro rate covers one t3.micro instance while it runs. The rate combines the software cost with the compute size. You pay separately for each instance you launch.
Software charges apply only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the hourly software fee. Underlying AWS charges for attached storage may still apply while stopped, but the software meters running time only. There is no upfront commitment.
The listing includes maintenance support from the vendor. Their managed services cover updates, monitoring, backups, and performance tuning on an ongoing basis. Support details beyond this are best confirmed directly with the vendor.
