Blend is the infrastructure powering the future of banking. It's our vision to bring simplicity and transparency to financial services, so every consumer can more easily access the capital they need to reach their financial goals. To realize this vision, we have built an innovative, market-leading Composable Origination Platform that redefines how financial services firms originate products and serve consumers - supercharging their ability to compete, convert and save in the platform economy.
From the moment a consumer starts an application for a loan or deposit account to the moment they digitally sign, our software platform streamlines the end-to-end process.
Financial providers from large banks, fintechs, and credit unions to community and independent mortgage banks partner with Blend to help transform banking experiences for their customers.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a contract pricing model built on a single billing dimension called Unit. You purchase Units under an agreed contract, and your cost scales with the number of Units you commit to. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from. Because pricing rests on one flexible Unit measure, you and the vendor set the quantity that fits your needs. Blend provides a digital origination platform for mortgage, consumer lending, and deposit account opening. The specific Unit definition and how it maps to your usage are arranged through the contract with the vendor.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Unit represent for billing purposes?
The pricing table defines the billing measure as Unit, but it does not spell out what a single Unit maps to in concrete terms. Blend's platform covers mortgage, consumer lending, and deposit account opening. Because this is a contract product, you and the vendor set the exact Unit definition and how it ties to your usage during the agreement.
How does my cost change if I add more Units during the contract?
Cost scales with the number of Units you commit to under the contract. Adding Units raises your total accordingly. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes that trigger automatic rate changes. Any adjustment to Unit quantity is arranged through the contract with the vendor, so scaling is handled by agreement rather than automatically.
Is this billed as pay-as-you-go or a fixed upfront commitment?
This is a contract pricing model. You commit to a set quantity of Units under an agreed contract rather than metering usage as you go. Charges rest on the committed Unit count, not on variable hourly or per-transaction activity. The vendor sets the Unit definition and quantity to match your needs.

What do you like best about the product?
As an all-in-one portal for borrowers, it works well, for the majority of times. API is pretty robust too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some changes aren't trasparent or very flexible, in terms of providing workarounds, when those changes disrupt the loan process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a fairly new lender trying to make everything electronic signing and online based, Blend being the front-end for the customers is useful and pretty intuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that all outstanding conditions are easily listed for anyone to check and know what is still needed. I like the automatic follow ups to remind borrowers to send in their items.
What do you dislike about the product?
One difficulty we've had is that some documents cannot be uploaded or borrowers have difficulty saving different formats. The assets section can make clients think we have what we need when we do not if they try to link an account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blend allows us to request conditions from clients and keep track of which items are outstanding and automatically follows up for items that are still needed on a regular basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend getting blend as an easy to use platform to collect client paperwork! It gives them an easy way to know exactly what is needed to complete their loan and is user friendly.
