What I like best about Menlo Security is its browser isolation technology, which effectively protects users from web-based threats without relying solely on endpoint detection. It significantly reduces the attack surface while maintaining a seamless user experience. I also appreciate its cloud-native architecture, ease of deployment, and strong visibility into web activity, which help organizations strengthen their Zero Trust and secure web access strategies.

What do you dislike about the product?

While Menlo Security provides strong browser isolation capabilities, there is room for improvement in reporting and dashboard customization, which would make it easier for security teams to perform deeper analysis. Some advanced policy configurations can also be complex for new administrators, and broader integration with third-party security platforms and more granular troubleshooting tools would further enhance operational efficiency.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Menlo Security helps address the growing risk of web-based attacks by isolating web content away from user endpoints, preventing phishing, malware, ransomware, and zero-day threats from reaching our environment. This proactive approach reduces the reliance on endpoint-based detection and lowers the risk of successful compromise.

The platform also enables secure access to SaaS applications and the internet while supporting data protection policies. As a result, our organization benefits from a reduced attack surface, improved cyber resilience, enhanced user productivity with minimal disruption, and greater confidence in supporting a Zero Trust security strategy while meeting regulatory and compliance expectations.

The best thing about Menlo Security is its agentless approach to secure application access. It eliminates the need for legacy VPNs while protecting our internal systems via advanced browser isolation technology. It integrates effortlessly with our Identity Provider (IdP) to ensure secure authentication.

What do you dislike about the product?

Setting up granular access controls for legacy internal applications has a bit of a learning curve. Additionally, complex web elements in older internal tools occasionally require some admin fine-tuning to render perfectly through the isolation layer.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the issue of insecure remote access by replacing our risky, legacy VPNs with a true Zero Trust model. This benefits us by significantly reducing our network's attack surface and eliminating the risk of lateral movement. It also streamlines the onboarding process for remote employees and external contractors

What do you like best about the product?

I like Menlo Security's new support structure and how they are constantly improving their product. I use the Data Loss Prevention and Zero-hour phishing (HEATshield) features, which are currently addressing our needs and upcoming initiatives. The initial setup was pretty straightforward.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't like the need to put in exceptions as the exception list has been growing. I wish there was a way to still protect the sites even if they are in the exception list.
