AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
This listing uses one usage-based pricing dimension. You pay per optimization API call, with no upfront commitment or fixed term. Each call runs on one of five optimization engines: QuantumJolt, DSS, Kestrel, QuantumEdge, or DRD. The engine you choose depends on your problem type, but the price is the same per call regardless of engine. Your total cost scales directly with how many optimization calls you make. There are no tiers or instance sizes to select. Costs rise and fall with your actual usage each billing period.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one optimization API call for billing?
One call is a single request to the optimize() function using an engine like QuantumJolt, DSS, or Kestrel. Each run of a problem counts as one call. Iterations inside a single optimization run do not bill separately. The number of function evaluations within a run does not change the call count.
Does my cost change depending on which engine or how complex my problem is?
No. The price is the same per call across QuantumJolt, DSS, Kestrel, QuantumEdge, and DRD engines. A high-dimensional problem and a simple one both count as one call. Problem complexity, dimensions, and evaluation count do not raise the per-call charge. Only the number of calls affects your bill.
Am I charged if an optimization run fails to converge or returns no solution?
Each call to the optimize() function counts toward billing when it runs, regardless of whether it converges. The result object reports convergence status and a termination message. A run that finishes without meeting the goal still consumes one call. This detail is not fully specified; confirm failure handling with the vendor.
