Overview
TCS OT Modernization Assessment Advisory combines AWS services with TCS advisory and consulting services expertise in manufacturing digital transformation strategy to guide customers on their smart manufacturing journey. The approach follows a tri-pronged strategy combining application, data and infrastructure dimensions to provide a 360-degree view to the customer on the AS-IS and To-BE product manufacturing state. The approaches are tailor-made to customers’ business goals and are backed by advisory services and commercial models that ensure customer readiness to embark on, accelerate and scale their manufacturing digital transformation journey and bring operational efficiency improvements. The offering delivers business value to customers by providing an in-depth analysis along three fronts: value proposition, accelerated deployment with positive ROI and ability to implement globally in dozens (hundreds) of manufacturing plants in just 4 weeks.
Key capabilities include:
- Pre-work - build foundational knowledge of the customer's business model, current product lifecycle and manufacturing production process, including facilities, production lines, standards, operating procedures, etc.
- Discovery and Assessment - Deeper dive into the customer's manufacturing profile, benchmarking and interim playback to the customer.
- Analysis - incorporating customer insights and feedback of their manufacturing capabilities, perceived strengths/weaknesses, KPIs, process visibility (e.g. data, dashboards, time to visualization) and recommended additional areas of focus during this engagement. Followed by interim playback to the customer.
- Recommendation & Report - Using industry data, TCS experiential data, the customer-specific assessments, playback information and feedback, provide customer-specific recommendations with expected business impacts & quantifiable benefits. Followed by interim playback to the customer.
- Solution & Roadmap - Based upon the final Recommendation & Report deliverables, including customer feedback, define the requisite technology solution, implementation timelines and ongoing roadmap. This will include a cost-benefit analysis to help prioritize focus areas. Deliverables will include a final presentation, associated content and a final playback for customer signoff. Using industry data, TCS experiential data, the customer-specific assessments, playback information and feedback, provide customer-specific recommendations with expected business impacts & quantifiable benefits. Followed by interim playback to the customer.
