Overview
IBM Technology Expert Labs (TEL) deep, product oriented subject matter experts will onboard and enable you onto Cloudability Savings Automation capabilities and beneficial use cases in partnership with your team. Our teams will collaborate via working sessions where configuration and enablement activities are completed to your requirements.
This Cloudability Savings Automation onboarding professional services offering enables these capabiities:
- Enable purchase and exchange capabilities of AWS Savings Plans and Convertible Reserved Instances (CRI)
- Establish guardrails for purchasing levels of the above savings instruments
- Determine cadenced follow-ups for budgetary approvals and target adjustments
Key Activities may include:
Phase 1: Enable and Define
• Conduct one (1) Onboarding Kickoff, approximately 50 minutes in length. Activities include: • AWS Credentialling • S3 bucket creation • Use access • Guardrails education and definition
Phase 2: Configuration and Rollout
• Go Live • CSA is deployed. AWS Savings Plans and Convertible Reserved Instances are purchased and exchanged as needed to achieve and maintain targeted thresholds.
Phase 3: Project Closeout
• Conduct one (1) session with Executive Sponsor and key stakeholders demonstrating Cloudability Savings Automation onboarding key achievements.
Client Roles & Responsibilities:
Cloudability Savings Automation Sponsor • Identify cloud/budget/forecast process owner, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts (SMEs). • Promote, champion, and communicate program goals with organization • Assist with program blockers
Cloudability Savings Automation Admin • Validate Cloudability Savings Automation guardrails with guidance from IBM • Attend all enablement and work sessions • Complete all prework before each enablement session • Liaise for support and escalation
