Tiger Bridge is a hybrid cloud storage solution that provides automated data tiering between on premises file systems and Amazon S3. Designed for environments with multiple offices, it delivers real time transparent access to tiered data across all sites while protecting data with immutable cloud storage and ransomware resilience, reducing storage costs by over 60%. With no changes to your existing applications or workflows, Tiger Bridge extends your current file servers seamlessly into AWS Cloud.
Exploding file data volumes, limited on premises capacity, and rising storage costs make it difficult for organizations to keep critical data accessible and protected. Traditional storage approaches force teams to choose between expensive local infrastructure, disruptive migrations, or slow, manual archive processes. Tiger Bridge eliminates that trade off with automated hybrid cloud storage that tiers data seamlessly from on premises Windows file systems to Amazon S3, reducing storage costs while preserving immediate access through familiar file paths.
With Tiger Bridge, your employees and applications continue to access data through familiar file paths. Files are transparently tiered to Amazon S3 based on access frequency, and stub files maintain the appearance of full local storage without consuming disk space. Automated data tiering across Amazon S3 Standard, Infrequent Access, and Glacier delivers cost optimized hybrid cloud storage tailored to your retention policies.
Key benefits:
Hybrid cloud storage: Seamlessly extend on premises Windows file servers to Amazon S3 with automated data tiering and transparent file access.
Immutable cloud storage and ransomware resilience: Leverage Amazon S3 Object Lock to enforce immutable backups and protect your enterprise file services against ransomware and accidental deletion.
Global file access: Enable real time collaboration and data sharing across multiple sites through a unified namespace backed by Amazon S3.
60%+ storage cost reduction: Eliminate costly hardware refreshes by offloading cool and cold data to cost efficient Amazon S3 storage classes.
On premises first design: Applications and users continue working without modification. Tiger Bridge operates transparently in the background.
Support for all S3 storage classes: Automate data movement across Standard, S3 IA, S3 Glacier Instant Retrieval, and Glacier Deep Archive. Whether your business operates on physical servers or virtual instances, Tiger Bridge integrates seamlessly to create unified file systems.
Tiger Bridge runs as an unbundled solution, so you need an existing AWS storage account to get started.
Highlights
Remote collaboration: Thanks to its tight integration with AWS cloud native capabilities, Tiger Bridge makes the best use of Amazon S3 storage including collaboration on data stored in the same Amazon bucket across multiple offices or regions.
Complete flexibility: Move data freely across different storage & computing environments. Tiger Bridge preserves native file formats and metadata when replicating data to AWS cloud. This ensures data is never locked into a certain vendor and always accessible by applications and AI services. Whether your business is planning future integrations or growth, Tiger Bridge ensures you are not tied into a single ecosystem.
Cost-optimized data protection: Tiger Bridge supports all Amazon S3 storage classes, including S3 Glacier Instant Retrieval and S3 Glacier Deep Archive, allowing flexible, cost-effective data lifecycle management, especially in areas where large file volumes need to be kept for long periods of time.

This listing has one pricing dimension: the Tiger Bridge Collaborate Plan, billed pay-as-you-go per GB. You pay based on managed capacity, which is the total data on your source tracked by the software. Your monthly charge reflects the maximum managed capacity during that month, so cost scales up or down with the data you manage. This plan supports syncing data across multiple sites for global file access and remote collaboration. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from within this listing.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as managed capacity for billing, and how is it measured each month?
Managed capacity is the total data on your source that the software tracks. Your monthly charge is based on the maximum managed capacity reached during that month. So the amount you pay follows your highest tracked data volume for the billing period, not an average.
Does data offloaded to the cloud still count toward my billed capacity?
Yes. Managed capacity covers all data the software tracks on the source, whether kept locally as hot data or replaced with stub files after offloading to the cloud. The software meters the full tracked data set, not just what remains on local disks.
What is not included in this per-GB subscription?
Premium professional services and paid support are not included. Email support is included, with responses typically within one to four business days. Underlying cloud storage costs from your storage provider are separate and billed by that provider, not through this subscription.
