Overview

Product video
The CTERA Portal serves as the central component in CTERA's Global File System, handling the presentation of the Global Namespace and indexing of metadata for all managed files and objects. Operating as a core administrative hub, the Portal offers a multi-tenant web console that allows IT organizations to centrally manage and automate data protection and governance across a distributed environment. It features controls for configuration management, centralized incident and alert handling, scheduling software updates, system monitoring, notifications, and more. Deployed as a AWS Instance across one or more availability zones or regions, the Portal cluster consists of metadata-catalog and application servers designed to horizontally scale to support petabytes of unstructured data and 1000s of remote CTERA Edge Filers and CTERA Drive App clients.
