Riverbed Aternity shows you the end user experience on any application or device. Aternity ensures exceptional employee experience by correlating together device performance and health, a view of application performance as seen by the employee in the context of a business process, and qualitative measures of employee sentiment. Our lightweight agent is deployed the employee device and provides insights into end user issues and automated remediation so IT can identify and resolve them quickly.

Dimensions summary
You buy these options under a contract, mostly priced per device or user. The Aternity endpoint monitoring licenses come as Enterprise, Essentials, and Mobile options, each covering different device types. An Application Add-On extends endpoint monitoring. Separate network monitoring units apply, with one version for Aternity Enterprise customers and one for those without it. The Intel module covers Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi visibility. Riverbed IQ uses a base unit including 200,000 node executions per month, with an add-on unit for extra executed nodes. Aternity 360 and an all-in-one SaaS bundle round out the choices.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each license covers one device. Enterprise and Essentials each count one Windows, Mac, or Virtual Desktop device. The Mobile license counts one iOS or Android device. You license each physical or virtual device separately, so your total depends on the device count you monitor.
The base unit includes 200,000 node executions per month per tenant. If you run more, you add IQ_NODES units, each covering up to 100,000 executed nodes per month per tenant. You stack these add-on units to match your monthly execution volume. Both charges appear on the same contract.
Both cover the same NPM modules for the Unified Agent and NPM Plus. Choose NPMP-4-ATNY-ENT if you already hold an Aternity Enterprise license. Choose NPMP-4-NOT-ENT if you do not. Your existing Aternity Enterprise status determines which single unit you buy.
