AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing offers one pricing dimension: the START subscription. You buy it as a contract commitment, and it covers up to 1,000 active users. Pricing scales around that user cap rather than by separate tiers or instance sizes. The subscription gives you a hosted, cloud-based streaming and video-on-demand platform with encoding, playback, content management, and monetization tools. Since only this single option exists on AWS Marketplace, there are no add-ons or size upgrades to compare here. If you expect more than 1,000 active users, contact the vendor to discuss options.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one active user under the START subscription's 1,000-user cap?
An active user is an account engaging with your streaming platform, such as viewers who log in and watch content. The cap counts these users, not your total video catalog or the number of platforms you build. You can launch multiple platforms from one interface, but the 1,000-user limit applies to your subscription.
What happens to my cost if I approach or exceed 1,000 active users?
The START subscription is sized for up to 1,000 active users. This dimension does not automatically bill for users beyond that cap. If your audience grows past 1,000, the START option no longer fits your needs. Contact the vendor to discuss options for larger user counts.
What is included in the START subscription without extra technical work?
You get a hosted, cloud-based platform covering setup, deployment, maintenance, and updates. This includes video encoding, a content management system, an HTML5 player, and monetization tools like subscriptions, rentals, and advertising. You launch without coding. Some features, such as certain API access and content protection, are marked premium and may sit outside this subscription.
