     Info

    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour for CentOS 10 with a bundled security agent, billed only while an instance runs. Each dimension maps to one AWS EC2 instance type, so your rate depends on the instance you launch. Smaller instances like nano, micro, and large sizes carry lower hourly rates, while larger instances and specialized families for compute, memory, storage, GPU, and high-performance workloads cost more per hour. You choose the instance that fits your workload, and the software charge applies on top of standard AWS infrastructure fees. No upfront commitment is required.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

Each hourly rate covers one running EC2 instance of the type you select. The charge bundles the CentOS 10 operating system and the security agent. Billing is per instance-hour, so running two instances doubles the software charge. The rate varies by instance family and size.
The hourly software charge meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue this charge. Stopped instances may still incur standard AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are separate from the software fee billed by this listing.
You pay two separate charges on the same bill. The listing adds an hourly software fee for CentOS 10 and the security agent. AWS adds its own hourly infrastructure fee for the instance you run. Both meter the same running hours and appear together.
