Streamline direct client relationships with a simple and intuitive administration panel. This no-code solution allows you to create and manage directories for use with Amazon Connect.
Manage your Amazon Connect directories with ease using VOCALDEX™ Enhanced Engagement. Now with support for extension numbers in addition to names, VocalDex is perfect for organizations transitioning from traditional telephony systems or those looking to maintain dedicated extensions for their contacts.
Use VOCALDEX™ Enhanced Engagement to manage a company directory (or multiple directories) for use with Amazon Connect. Each "destination" can have an Amazon Connect agent, an external phone number--or both. Assign your destinations to any number of directories to use with your Amazon Connect flows.
Each directory is represented as an Amazon Connect Flow Module, which can be simply dropped into your existing flows. Once the directory flow module is in place, further updates to the directory won't require any changes to the flows.
Important Notes:
The application requires an Amazon Connect instance; it cannot be deployed without the ID of the instance and there is no way to use the application besides the chat/voice capabilities of Amazon Connect.
The application deploys entirely into your own AWS account using AWS Marketplace's Quick Launch feature. ASA Solutions never has access to your AWS account or the data inside of it. Required application usage data and optional additional telemetry is anonymized prior to being sent to ASA Solutions*.
The application has been designed with a focus on cost efficiency, but due to existing entirely in your own AWS account, all AWS usage fees are billed to your account and you are responsible for those infrastructure charges.
All potentially-PII data such as destination and directory names are hashed prior to being sent. To comply with AWS Marketplace Quick Launch setup, ASA Solutions does receive the CloudFront address of your administration panel for use with the "Launch Application" feature. No additional information about your company or administrators is collected.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You start with the Standard Tier, billed per hour. It entitles you to up to 2 Directories and 30 Destinations. A Directory is a group of contacts, and a Destination is a routing endpoint for a caller. When you exceed those entitled amounts, two usage-based add-ons apply. You pay a per-hour charge for each Directory beyond 2, and a per-hour charge for each Destination beyond 30. This is Pay-As-You-Go pricing, so your cost scales with how many extra Directories and Destinations you use.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Directory and one Destination for billing purposes?
A Directory is a group of contacts you organize for lookup. A Destination is a single routing endpoint for a caller, such as a contact center account or an E.164 phone number. Each contact endpoint counts as one Destination, and each contact grouping counts as one Directory.
If I add a Directory or Destination beyond my entitled amount, is the charge automatic?
Yes. Once you exceed 2 Directories or 30 Destinations, Pay-As-You-Go add-on charges apply automatically. You pay a per-hour rate for each extra Directory and each extra Destination. Only the units above your entitled amounts trigger these charges. Usage within the entitled amounts stays covered by the Standard Tier.
Which usage drives my extra costs — Directories or Destinations?
Both add-on charges apply independently and bill per hour. Extra Directories and extra Destinations each accrue their own per-hour rate, then combine on your invoice. If you add many endpoints but few groupings, Destination overage drives most of your extra cost, and the reverse holds if you create many groupings.
