The ZIP Code and Administrative Reference File includes all USA ZIP Codes spatially intersected against States, Counties, CBSAs, MCDs and Places so that at each intersection, a new ZIP Code record is created. This product utilizes the very latest ZIP code boundaries and postal data combined with the latest census and CBSA definitions.
This seemingly simple flat table is a 1:many relationship between postal and census geography which associates the ZIP Code with otherwise unavailable information. The ZIP Code and Administrative Reference file provides value to customers by mapping and exposing relationships between ZIP Codes and administrative boundaries, which are otherwise not linked.
