HighByte Intelligence Hub is the Edge-native DataOps solution built for industrial data. The Intelligence Hub enables manufacturers to securely collect, merge, model, and stream ready-to-consume industrial datasets to AWS services without writing or maintaining code.
Run the application at the Edge to bridge the gap between IT and Operational Technology (OT) teams and systems. Securely connect devices, files, databases, and systems via open standards and native connections. Tap into real-time and asset model data from a wide variety of edge data sources, including machine data, transactional data, and time series (historical) data. Use the interface to normalize, standardize, and contextualize data points and data sets. Model and transform this data while in motion so it is ready to use in target applications.
Edge-to-Cloud: Deploy HighByte Intelligence Hub inside the factory and push rich data models to AWS in minutes. The Intelligence Hub connects to data sources using common factory protocols like OPC UA, SQL, MQTT, Sparkplug, REST, and CSV. Easily map these data sources to rich data models using a simple drag-and-drop interface and then send these models to multiple AWS endpoints, including AWS IoT Core, IoT SiteWise, IoT Greengrass, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon S3, Amazon S3 Tables, and more.
Cloud-to-Edge: HighByte Intelligence Hub can also move data in AWS back to the factory floor, enabling customers to deliver alerts from machine learning, data from third-party sensors, and more. Connect the Intelligence Hub to AWS IoT Core or IoT Greengrass and subscribe to a data topic. This will allow the Intelligence Hub to pull data back to the factory, model it, and send it to HMIs, historians, and other industrial systems using protocols like OPC UA and Sparkplug.
Return on Investment:
- Performance. Drive manufacturing performance, quality, productivity, and waste reduction with curated, modeled data for advanced analytics and AI agents.
- Time. Reduce time to deploy and maintain system integrations and accelerate data preparation for analytics and other business systems.
- Scalability. Build a data infrastructure designed for multi-site scalability and govern data standards across the enterprise.
- Security. Improve system-wide security and produce audit logs for system integrity and regulatory traceability.
Highlights
- Native Connectivity. The Intelligence Hub consumes both real-time and asset model data from a variety of edge data sources, including machine data, transactional data, time series (historical) data, and AWS IoT Greengrass. Publish data over a variety of outbound connections, including native connections to AWS IoT SiteWise, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, and Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, and Amazon S3 Tables.
- Data Modeling. Use the Intelligence Hub to build asset models in the editor or import external model definitions. These models can be deployed directly to AWS IoT SiteWise along with the streaming data. Calculate and visualize metrics from telemetry data using AWS IoT SiteWise Monitor.
- Data Orchestration. Use Pipelines to orchestrate asset models to multiple output connectors, each with different frequencies. Connect bi-directionally to AWS IoT Core and AWS IoT Greengrass through the MQTT connection to consume data from the Cloud and publish modeled information back to on-premises systems. For large datasets, publish to warm-tier storage in Amazon S3 via natively supported buffered ingestion to optimize efficiency and cost of AWS IoT SiteWise.

Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
Version release notes
Added support for Model Context Protocol (MCP). The MCP Server can be enabled under the REST Data Server settings. The server exposes Pipelines as tools for AI Agents. Added support for managing Intelligence Hub projects with Git. This includes the ability to back up a project to a Git repository manually and automatically, as well as the ability to deploy an Intelligence Hub that pulls its configuration from one or more Git repositories. Added OpenTelemetry (OTel) support for publishing JVM metrics, event logs, and Pipeline and Connection statistics. Added the ability to use LLMs to create Instances and contextualize data. Users can now manually create and map a single Instance and then use it as an example for an LLM to find other similar Instances in an OPC UA server or other address space.
