    Tonic Agentic Exposure Management Platform

     Info
An agentic decision and execution platform that transforms fragmented security and IT signals into business-aligned risk decisions and verified remediation outcomes.

    Overview

Tonic Security is an Agentic Exposure Management platform that helps enterprises cut through vulnerability noise, identify the exposures that matter most to the business, and drive remediation at machine speed.

Tonic is built on a security Data Fabric that continuously connects and correlates data across security, IT, cloud, identity, ticketing, collaboration, and business systems. This includes vulnerability scanners, cloud security platforms, CMDBs, ITSM systems, Jira, Confluence, Slack, SharePoint, threat intelligence sources, and AWS environments.

Tonic integrates with AWS services and AWS security data sources to enrich exposure analysis with cloud asset context, configuration data, reachability, ownership signals, and business impact. By combining AWS cloud context with data from the broader enterprise environment, Tonic enables security teams to understand which exposures matter most, who owns them, and what action is required to reduce risk.

The Tonic platform supports the exposure management lifecycle through four core steps:

    1. Collect: Tonic connects to security, IT, cloud, identity, ticketing, collaboration, and business systems to ingest structured and unstructured data, including asset data, vulnerabilities, configuration findings, ownership information, tickets, documentation, and operational context.

    2. Contextualize: Tonic continuously analyzes and enriches exposures with business and technical context. This includes identifying asset criticality, mapping assets to the business processes they support, inferring owners and fixers, assessing security controls, evaluating exploitability, analyzing reachability, and modeling potential attack paths and business blast radius.

    3. Prioritize: Tonic applies context-driven prioritization to reduce large volumes of findings into a short, defensible list of exposures that require action. Instead of relying only on generic severity scores, Tonic evaluates exposures based on business impact, likelihood of exploitation, reachability, ownership, and compensating controls. Priorities are continuously updated as assets, threats, and controls change.

    4. Act: The Tonic agentic Mobilization Coordinator accelerates remediation by identifying the right fixer, creating or enriching tickets with precise context and guidance, coordinating follow-up, tracking progress, managing exceptions, recommending compensating controls when patching is not feasible, and validating remediation outcomes.

With Tonic, security teams move beyond vulnerability backlog management and focus on measurable exposure reduction. The platform reduces manual effort, improves decision quality, accelerates remediation, and maintains explainability, governance, and human oversight throughout the process.

    Highlights

    • Business-driven prioritization: Tonic goes beyond CVSS by combining exploitability, business impact, ownership, reachability, resilience, and operational context to identify the exposures that pose the greatest real-world risk.
    • Agentic remediation orchestration: Tonics AI agents investigate exposures, identify the right owners, coordinate remediation across teams, recommend compensating controls, and verify completion.
    • Unified exposure intelligence: Tonic connects security, IT, cloud, identity, CMDB, ticketing, collaboration, and AWS data into a single, continuously updated view that enables faster and more informed exposure management decisions.
