Ensono understands that the availability of business applications and transactions is the highest priority to any business running their business platform in AWS Public Cloud. Any business requires resilient cloud systems, however Public Cloud does not protect against a regional outage, so cross-region disaster recovery is essential. The cost of downtime now extends beyond lost revenue - lost productivity and revenue, damaged reputation and more. Ensono’s Cloud DR AWS service addresses the risk of lost data and critical business applications being unavailable for extended time periods. Ensono’s Cloud DR is a DRaaS 24x7 managed service available to subscribers of Ensono’s Cloud Flex® Core Services. Ensono consultants design a custom disaster recovery solution and DR Recovery Plan. Ensono Operations then provide ongoing DR infrastructure management, maintenance, and support for data replication and updates to the DR environment recovery orchestration. In addition, the service provides proactive continual assessment of the customer DR recovery plan, to remove technical drift causing issues during a DR failover test or DR event failover and recovery.

Ensono leverages AWS native DR tooling plus other technologies where required, based on a customer’s RTO/RPO requirements, and will incorporate always on configured applications such as databases into the solution.

Ensono’s Cloud DR engineers with intimate knowledge of a client's systems, will execute a full DR Failover when necessary either as managed DR test or at the time of a declared disaster event. They manage the recovery process and collaborate with you to ensure the availability of critical VMs and applications, minimizing the business impact of a regional DR.
