Note that AWS may still bill underlying storage for a stopped instance, but that is separate from the software rate charged here. You pay software charges only while the instance runs.
This uses usage-based hourly billing with no upfront commitment. You pay only for the hours each instance runs. When you stop or terminate the instance, software charges end. This suits variable or short-lived Golang workloads where you want cost to follow actual runtime.
