Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

This listing bills through a contract using two dimensions. You buy AuthZed Platform Credits, which apply to Enterprise, Dedicated, or Cloud deployments. Credits act as prepaid units you draw down as you use the platform. If your usage goes beyond your credit balance, usage-based fees cover the overage. This structure lets you commit to a credit amount up front, then pay for anything extra on a metered basis. Both dimensions are priced per unit, so your total scales with how much authorization capacity you consume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Credits act as prepaid units you draw down as you consume authorization capacity across Enterprise, Dedicated, or Cloud deployments. The platform meters usage hourly and invoices monthly in arrears. Your credit balance covers this metered consumption, so the number of credits used tracks how much authorization work the system performs.
Once you consume your prepaid AuthZed Credits, usage-based fees cover the extra. These overage charges meter your continued consumption and appear as a separate dimension. You do not lose access when credits run out; the overage fees simply apply to usage past your committed credit amount.
AuthZed Credits carry your committed, prepaid consumption and usually account for most spend. Usage-based fees apply only to consumption past your credit balance. If you stay within your credit amount, you incur no overage. Heavy or growing usage shifts more cost into the usage-based fees dimension.
