Production-ready N8N with full root access, security hardening, and automated setup - a self-hosted alternative to Zapier and Make for workflow automation on AWS.
This fully managed N8N solution delivers a production-ready workflow automation platform on AWS, built on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Every instance is pre-configured with security best practices, optimized settings, and automated operations.
Why Choose Self-Hosted N8N?
Unlike Zapier or Make (Integromat), this AMI gives you full root and OS-level access with no per-workflow or per-execution pricing. Create unlimited workflows with 400+ integrations. Keep your automation data and API credentials within your own infrastructure.
Key Features

N8N pre-configured with drag-and-drop workflow editor, 400+ pre-built integrations, and custom code nodes for JavaScript and Python.
Automated Setup
On first login, an interactive setup script configures N8N, sets up the database, and applies firewall rules - all within minutes.
Unlimited Workflows
No execution limits, no workflow limits, no throttling. Run as many automations as your instance can handle.
Use Cases
Business process automation and data synchronization
CRM and marketing automation workflows
DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation
Data transformation and ETL pipelines

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you choose to run this managed workflow automation platform. The eight options fall into three instance families. The t2 and t3 families offer burstable general-purpose compute in medium, large, and xlarge sizes. The m5 family offers steady general-purpose compute in large and xlarge sizes. Hourly rates rise as you move to larger sizes, since each step adds CPU and memory capacity. Pick the instance that matches your workload volume. All billing runs through your existing AWS account.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do the t2, t3, and m5 instance choices mean for my running costs?
Each option maps to an EC2 instance size. The t2 and t3 families give burstable compute that handles occasional traffic spikes. The m5 family gives steady compute for continuous workloads. You pay the hourly rate tied to the size you run. Larger sizes add CPU and memory, so they cost more per hour.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or the platform sits idle?
The hourly software charge meters running time. A fully stopped instance does not accrue software charges. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are separate from the software rate. You pay for the hours the instance actually runs.
What is included in the hourly rate beyond the compute itself?
The rate covers a managed deployment. The vendor handles provisioning, SSL, monitoring, daily backups, updates, and security patches. Deployments include pre-configured dashboards and automated alerting. You avoid manual server setup and ongoing maintenance work. Billing runs through your existing AWS account.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
