At Speedeon, we use these variables frequently as features in predictive models, especially when the degree of urbanization is likely to be important. Since these attributes are continuous variables, they offer more information than simply describing a location as "urban", "suburban", or "rural". The variables may also be used in exploratory analysis of customer data. Knowing this information can help tailor messages to customers, especially when appended to other known attributes from your database.

- TRANSIT_SCORE - Metric describing the accessibility of public transportation based on the distance to nearby transit stops.
