Scope of Project:
Discovery & Planning
- Review server list to determine what is to be included in the scan
- Create configuration and deployment plan.
Configuration & Implementation

Think|Stack will set up the migration assessment data gathering tool. This tool looks at various CPU, Memory, Disk, and IO characteristics per application and per server.

Think|Stack will work with client to deploy tool agents to servers.
- Once validated tool is deploy to applicable servers, Think|Stack will kick off the tool to run.

Think|Stack will run this tool for a period of two weeks to four weeks on the server environment.

Think|Stack will review and analyze the data output by the tool.

Think|Stack will generate a report based on the findings of the tool with the expected monthly and annual cost within AWS.
Deliverables

Think|Stack will deliver a report to the client with the output of the scan and outlining a path to the cloud.
Scope Exclusions/Assumptions:

This project does not include any planned changes to the client’s environment aside from installation and running of the migration data gathering tool.

Client may be required to assist with installation of tool agents.

This does not include a review of the client’s networking infrastructure. This can be added on as a change order to build a plan more fully with the client on feasibility and any pre-requisites or recommendations related to networking and moving to the cloud.

- Migration data gathering tool licensing included in project cost for up an identified amount of servers.
