Dimensions summary
You buy prepaid credits in three fixed amounts: $20, $100, or $500. These are not tiers with different features. Each option adds the same type of balance to your Vagon account. The dollar amount you choose sets how much credit you load. You then draw down that balance as you use the platform. Usage is charged by the minute based on the performance option you run, and a storage fee applies to keep your data on the cloud. Larger credit purchases simply prepay more balance up front; the underlying rates stay the same.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Usage is charged by the minute based on the performance option you run. The minute-based charge is subtracted from your loaded credit balance. A separate storage fee to keep your data on the cloud also draws from the same balance. You switch performance options anytime, and rates differ per option.
Usage charges apply only for the minutes you actively run a performance option. When you are not running the workstation, no per-minute usage accrues. A storage fee still applies to keep your software and files on the cloud, so you avoid reinstalling everything next session.
Data sent to the platform and downloads into it carry no cost. Outbound data transfers out of the platform are free for the first 10GB each month. Beyond that, an additional charge applies per additional 10GB of outbound transfer. These charges draw from your credit balance.
