Overview
AWS Cloud Architecture, Migration and Optimization Professional Service
Help your organization successfully adopt, migrate to, and maximize value from AWS with certified cloud experts who provide end-to-end guidance from initial assessment through production handoff.
Who This Service Is For
This engagement is designed for organizations that need to migrate on-premises workloads to AWS, modernize legacy applications, implement AWS landing zones, or optimize existing AWS environments for cost and performance. We serve mid-market companies, enterprise organizations, software vendors, public sector agencies, and financial services firms.
Engagement Phases and Timeline
Typical engagements follow a structured four-phase approach:
Phase 1 - Discovery (1-2 weeks): Comprehensive assessment of your current environment, business requirements, and technical objectives. Deliverable: Cloud Assessment Report.
Phase 2 - Design (2-4 weeks): Scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS architecture design aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Deliverable: AWS Architecture Design Document.
Phase 3 - Implement (4-12 weeks): Migration execution, infrastructure deployment, and application modernization. Deliverables: Migration Runbook, Infrastructure Deployment Templates, Security Assessment Report.
Phase 4 - Handoff (1-2 weeks): Knowledge transfer, operational procedures documentation, and final engagement summary. Deliverables: Operational Procedures Documentation, Knowledge Transfer Sessions, Final Engagement Summary Report.
Total engagement duration typically ranges from 4 to 20 weeks depending on scope and complexity.

Out of scope unless explicitly agreed: ongoing managed services after handoff, third-party software licensing, and physical data center decommissioning.
Getting Started
The first step is a free 30-minute scoping call to understand your environment, objectives, and timeline. From there, we provide a tailored proposal with fixed deliverables, timeline, and investment. Contact us through AWS Marketplace to schedule your discovery session.
By leveraging AWS best practices and a structured delivery methodology, we help customers reduce migration risks, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate time to production on AWS.
Highlights
- Structured four-phase delivery (Discovery, Design, Implement, Handoff) with typical engagement timelines of 4 to 20 weeks. Each phase produces named deliverables - from Cloud Assessment Reports and Architecture Design Documents to Migration Runbooks and Infrastructure Deployment Templates - so you always know what you are getting and when. Engagements are scoped during a free initial discovery call to match your environment complexity and business timeline.
- Cost optimization and FinOps expertise that identifies savings opportunities across compute, storage, networking, and licensing. Our consultants review your AWS spend against Well-Architected Framework cost optimization pillars, implement right-sizing recommendations, and establish ongoing governance with tagging strategies and budget alerts using AWS Cost Explorer and AWS Budgets.
- Security-first approach with comprehensive assessments covering IAM policies, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance posture. We implement multi-account governance using AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations, establish guardrails and SCPs, and deliver a Security Assessment Report with prioritized remediation steps aligned to your regulatory requirements.

Support Channels During Active Engagements
Support is provided throughout active engagements via the following channels:
- Email: Direct engagement team contacts (kris@mycloud.sg and liam@mycloud.sg ). Email inquiries are acknowledged within 1 business day during active engagements.
- Scheduled Meetings: Weekly status meetings to review progress, address blockers, and align on next steps.
- Collaboration Workspace: Shared Slack or Microsoft Teams channel for real-time communication. Critical issues raised via the shared workspace are addressed within the same business day during standard business hours.
Engagement Scoping and Kickoff
All engagements begin with a discovery call to define scope, timeline, and deliverables. Buyers can schedule a discovery call through AWS Marketplace or by emailing the team directly. During kickoff, a Statement of Work (SOW) is established that defines escalation procedures, response time commitments, milestone-tied deliverables, and engagement duration. Detailed escalation paths and priority-based response targets are formalized in the SOW.
Buyer Responsibilities
To ensure a successful engagement, buyers are expected to:
- Designate a technical point of contact and project sponsor
- Provide AWS account access and relevant environment documentation
- Supply application inventories or workload details as applicable
- Allocate internal staff availability for discovery sessions and knowledge transfer
Specific buyer-side requirements and handoff artifacts are confirmed during the scoping process and documented in the SOW.
Post-Engagement Support
Upon engagement completion, all deliverables are handed off to the buyer. For post-engagement questions or follow-up needs, buyers can reach out through AWS Marketplace.
