GigaVUE Cloud Suite Fabric Manager - CPPO edition. GigaVUE Cloud Suite is an intelligent network traffic visibility solution that acquires, optimizes and distributes selected traffic to security and monitoring tools. Enterprises can extend their security posture to AWS by assuring compliance and taking advantage of a reliable, scalable and available cloud environment. traffic visibility for workloads running in AWS and enables increased security, operational efficiency and scale across Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs). With this solution, organizations can: - Optimize costs with up to 100% visibility for security without increasing load on compute instances as more security tools are deployed - Leverage GigaSMART® traffic intelligence to deliver optimized traffic to the right tool, up to 99% reduction in traffic with NetFlow/IPFIX generation The Solution includes three key components: G-vTAP agents: Lightweight agents deployed on the EC2 instances, which filter and mirror traffic and send mirrored traffic to the visibility tier GigaVUE V Series: Visibility nodes deployed in each VPC that aggregate, select, optimize and distribute traffic GigaVUE-FM: Single pane-of-glass orchestration and management across entire Visibility Platform, on-premises and in AWS
Highlights
Increased AWS Security and Monitoring: Centralize access to critical intelligence across your AWS infrastructure to rapidly identify security threats and performance issues
Enhanced Network Traffic Intelligence: Upgrade the stream of intelligence fed to tools by gaining insight into the applications traversing VPCs and deliver critical data as NetFlow records or traffic streams to security and monitoring tools
Improved Operational Agility: Manage delivery of intelligence to tools from anywhere using a single-pane-of-glass orchestration and rapidly identify changes in AWS VPCs through integration with AWS APIs

Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the Amazon EC2 instance size you run for this deep observability software. Three instance options are available: m4.xlarge, m5.xlarge, and m5.2xlarge. The m4.xlarge and m5.xlarge are comparable in compute size, while the m5.2xlarge provides more capacity. Your total cost depends on which instance types you deploy and how many hours each one runs. You can mix instance sizes to match traffic volume across your environments. There is no upfront commitment; billing accrues per running hour.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hour of an instance like m5.xlarge or m5.2xlarge represent for billing?
Each running hour of a deployed instance is one billable unit. The software runs on Amazon EC2 nodes that acquire and distribute traffic to your tools. You pay per node while it runs. A larger instance such as m5.2xlarge bills at a higher hourly rate than m4.xlarge or m5.xlarge.
Am I charged when an instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges accrue only while an instance runs. A stopped or terminated node stops accruing the hourly software fee. Underlying AWS storage or other resource fees may still apply while a node is stopped, but the software meters running time only.
Which instance choice drives my total cost, and can I run several at once?
Your bill combines every running node's hourly rate multiplied by its hours. You can run m4.xlarge, m5.xlarge, and m5.2xlarge together. The m5.2xlarge carries more capacity and a higher rate. Running more nodes or larger sizes to handle traffic across VPCs raises the total.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
