GigaVUE Cloud Suite Fabric Manager - CPPO edition. GigaVUE Cloud Suite is an intelligent network traffic visibility solution that acquires, optimizes and distributes selected traffic to security and monitoring tools. Enterprises can extend their security posture to AWS by assuring compliance and taking advantage of a reliable, scalable and available cloud environment. traffic visibility for workloads running in AWS and enables increased security, operational efficiency and scale across Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs). With this solution, organizations can: - Optimize costs with up to 100% visibility for security without increasing load on compute instances as more security tools are deployed - Leverage GigaSMART® traffic intelligence to deliver optimized traffic to the right tool, up to 99% reduction in traffic with NetFlow/IPFIX generation The Solution includes three key components: G-vTAP agents: Lightweight agents deployed on the EC2 instances, which filter and mirror traffic and send mirrored traffic to the visibility tier GigaVUE V Series: Visibility nodes deployed in each VPC that aggregate, select, optimize and distribute traffic GigaVUE-FM: Single pane-of-glass orchestration and management across entire Visibility Platform, on-premises and in AWS
Highlights
Increased AWS Security and Monitoring: Centralize access to critical intelligence across your AWS infrastructure to rapidly identify security threats and performance issues
Enhanced Network Traffic Intelligence: Upgrade the stream of intelligence fed to tools by gaining insight into the applications traversing VPCs and deliver critical data as NetFlow records or traffic streams to security and monitoring tools
Improved Operational Agility: Manage delivery of intelligence to tools from anywhere using a single-pane-of-glass orchestration and rapidly identify changes in AWS VPCs through integration with AWS APIs

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run for this deep observability deployment. Three instance sizes are available: m4.xlarge, m5.xlarge, and m5.2xlarge. Each represents a different compute capacity, so you select the size that matches your traffic volume and processing needs. The m5.2xlarge offers more compute per hour than the two xlarge options. Billing accrues per running hour, so your cost scales with how many instances you run and how long they stay active. You can mix instance sizes across your deployment as workloads require.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Am I charged for these instances when they are stopped or powered off?
Charges accrue per running hour of each EC2 instance you deploy. Fully stopped instances do not accrue software charges. Underlying AWS storage or other resource fees may still apply while an instance is stopped, but the software license meters active running time only.
What does one hour of each instance type actually give me for this deployment?
Each unit is one running EC2 instance-hour of the selected size. The instance hosts a GigaVUE V Series deep observability node in your VPC. That node aggregates, selects, and delivers traffic to your monitoring and security tools. Larger sizes provide more compute to process higher traffic volumes.
How does my bill change if I run multiple instance sizes together?
Each instance bills independently at its own hourly rate. Running several instances adds their hourly charges together for each hour they stay active. You can mix m4.xlarge, m5.xlarge, and m5.2xlarge as your traffic requires. Total cost scales with the number of instances and their running hours.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
