Deploy a private file sharing portal directly in your AWS account. S3ndless provides expiring, password-protected download links using only native AWS services. No external SaaS and no data leaves your environment.
S3ndless File Sharing is a self-hosted, serverless file sharing solution designed for organizations that cannot use external SaaS services for exchanging files.
Many companies are restricted from using tools like WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive due to compliance, security, or data residency requirements. S3ndless addresses this by providing a modern file sharing experience that runs entirely inside your AWS account, using only AWS-managed services.
Once deployed via CloudFormation, S3ndless operates without servers to manage. Files are stored in your own Amazon S3 bucket and distributed through your CloudFront distribution. Access to files is controlled using expiring links, optional password protection, and configurable upload restrictions.
The included web interface allows users to upload files through a simple drag-and-drop UI and immediately generate secure download links. Expiration rules can be defined based on time or number of downloads. The interface can be customized using a configuration file stored in S3, allowing organizations to apply their own branding, text, and domain.
S3ndless is intended for production use in security-sensitive environments where full ownership of infrastructure, data, and access control is required.

Built for AWS-native workflows: integrates seamlessly with S3, Lambda, IAM, and event-driven architectures.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing has one pricing dimension: Deployment (Hosts). You pay under a contract for the right to deploy the file sharing application into your own AWS account. Pricing does not scale by user count, storage, or transfer volume. Because the app runs serverlessly in your account, any AWS resource costs it uses (such as CloudFront, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB) are billed separately by AWS, not through this contract. The contract covers the deployment itself, giving you a single, predictable line item on your AWS invoice.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the Deployment (Hosts) contract actually cover, and what runs in my account?
The contract grants you the right to deploy the file sharing application into your own AWS account. It installs as a CloudFormation stack that runs serverlessly using CloudFront, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB. There are no servers to manage. The stack provisions all resources inside your account boundary, so your data stays in-house.
Does my cost change based on file count, upload volume, or number of people sharing links?
No. The contract is a flat fee that does not scale by users, files, or transfer volume. There is no signup or user account system in the app. The one variable is the underlying AWS resource usage (CloudFront, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB), which AWS bills separately based on your actual activity.
What happens to my stored files and links when a shared link expires?
When a file expires by time or download count, it is removed from the active links database and the public download link stops working. The file itself is not deleted from S3, only made inaccessible. This behavior does not affect your contract cost, though retained S3 storage still incurs standard AWS charges.
