You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you choose to run this software. The 21 dimensions map to different instance sizes across several families. The t2 and t3 lines offer general-purpose options ranging from nano through 2xlarge, letting you scale compute and memory as needed. The m3, m4, and m5 large instances add balanced compute. The c3, c4, and c5 large instances suit compute-heavy work. The r3, r4, and r5 large instances target memory-intensive tasks. Your hourly rate rises with instance capacity. You add AWS infrastructure charges separately.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get for the hourly rate on each instance type?
You get a running EC2 instance with LangChain and Flowise pre-installed on Ubuntu 24.04. The hourly software charge maps to one running instance of the size you pick. Each virtual server counts as one instance. Larger instance types provide more CPU and memory, so their hourly rate is higher.
Am I charged when I stop or pause the instance?
The hourly software charge applies only while the instance runs. Stopped instances do not accrue software charges. AWS may still bill you separately for attached storage and other infrastructure while the instance is stopped. To stop all software charges, terminate or shut down the instance.
