Our Joint Approach Our joint approach The migration process consists of three key phases:

1. Assess, Plan & Architect: This phase focuses on desired business outcomes, evaluating the technical, business, and organizational readiness for migration. This comprehensive assessment considers business goals and company priorities. Based on this evaluation, we propose target-state infrastructures for your applications in AWS. This strategic approach ensures that migration efforts are tailored to your specific business objectives and technological capabilities.

2. Build & Prove: This phase utilizes the Experience-Based Acceleration (EBA) methodology, which employs interactive, agile, and immersive activities to accelerate cloud adoption. The centerpiece is a 3-day activity called EBA party. This event addresses friction points and blockers for migration initiatives, aiming to deliver the target-state infrastructure defined in the Assess and Architect phase. Prior to the EBA party, there's a planning and enablement phase involving presentations, AWS Immersion Days, workshops, and self-guided training. The outcome of this phase is moving a portion of the application to AWS cloud, ensuring it operates on the defined AWS infrastructure and architecture.

3. Scale: The knowledge and the results obtained from the Assessment and Build & Deploy phases enable continuous and iterative migration at scale through delivery cycles that minimize risks and accelerate migration across the organization.

All the phases use an integrated strategy, focusing on moving your applications to AWS while maintaining their current functionality. This includes infrastructure provisioning and configuration, accelerated by AI agents that are part of CI&T Flow, our AI platform.

This migration process begins with your current applications, where we adapt infrastructure as needed. Using AI agents, we generate essential assets such as infrastructure diagrams, documentation, migration plans, and Infrastructure as Code provisioning scripts. The CoE team then reviews and refines these AI-generated assets, defining the optimal cloud infrastructure.

This AI-integrated approach significantly enhances efficiency, reduces errors and ensures a higher quality end product, enabling us to deliver rapid, reliable and secure migration solutions. Our methodology integrates both AWS and CI&T approaches, converging common activities and complementing each other to create a comprehensive migration strategy.
