Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you choose to run Zope on Ubuntu 24.04. The 21 options are not feature tiers. Each maps to a different AWS instance type with its own mix of compute, memory, and CPU capacity. General-purpose t2 and t3 types cover a range from nano and micro up to 2xlarge. The m3, m4, and m5 types add balanced compute and memory. The c3, c4, and c5 types focus on compute. The r3, r4, and r5 types focus on memory. Hourly cost scales with instance capacity.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You pay for each hour the instance runs. One unit equals one running instance-hour of the AWS instance type you select. The hourly rate reflects that instance's compute, memory, and CPU capacity. Running one instance for a full day accrues 24 instance-hours of software charges.
The software rate meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue software charges. Underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume may still apply while the instance is stopped. Charges resume once you start the instance again.
The listing includes maintenance support from the vendor. The vendor also offers round-the-clock assistance, performance monitoring, backup management, and security updates. Support covers the software as provided. Integration with products that are not a native part of the service is not guaranteed.
