This API allows to check the validiti of TIN (Tax Identification Number) numbers. This API isn't connected to any domestic database of any of the available countries and only checks the TIN based on lenght, structure and in many cases also on complex checksum algorithms.
This is the standard approach for CRS and FATCA reporting in the banking and finance industry.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract pricing has two dimensions that work together. Product Access grants you the right to use the API as a subscriber. The Per API request dimension charges you for each validation call you make. Your total cost combines the access dimension with usage that scales by the number of requests. The more requests you send, the more you pay under the per-request dimension. Access forms the base, and request volume drives the variable portion of your bill.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one API request for billing under the per-request dimension?
Each validation call you send to the API counts as one request. When you submit a Tax Identification Number to be checked against the OECD CRS specification, that single check registers as one billable request. Sending more numbers to validate means more requests.
How do the Product Access and Per API request charges combine on my bill?
Both charges appear together. Product Access grants your subscription the right to use the API. The Per API request charge then adds a variable amount tied to how many validation calls you make. Access is fixed; request volume drives the changing part of your total.
Does my per-request cost change as my validation volume grows?
The seller states pricing offers cost savings for bulk checks, where higher volume lowers the price for each additional check. This means the per-request rate can decrease as your validation volume increases. For exact volume thresholds, contact the vendor.
