Sycomp AWS Well-Architected Review for Education & Research

Sycomp has dedicated it's cloud practice to helping organizations solve challenges in AWS. CLOUD IS NOT AN EASY BUTTON. And the degree of difficulty increases depending on how the environment was built prior to migration to the cloud. Moving from on-premises to the cloud is not a straight, narrow path, and no two pathways are alike. Cloud technology and services are rapidly evolving, and applications and workloads need to meet the demands for scale and growth. Consistent assessments are needed to ensure that cloud environments are built to operate at the highest level of efficiency, while still providing a structure that helps drive innovation.

1. AWS Well-Architected Review: Interview with technical and business team for validation and verification of the current production architecture and infrastructure. Review of the AWS services used and policies in place at an organizational level to consume and manage the environment. This includes questions based on the chosen topics - among 6 defined pillars: Security, Operational Excellence, Performance, Reliability, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability. Ideally, 1-3 pillars are chosen for focus and detailed deliverables with ongoing assessment plans suggested in future engagements. Estimated duration: 2-4 hours.
2. Report presentation: Sycomp will provide a detailed report about each of the risks identified in the review for each of the chosen pillars. Among that, is a detailed remediation plan with priorities and a toolset to accomplish the remediation. Estimated duration: 2 hours.
3. Remediation plan: If you decide to continue, Sycomp will provide a scope for Sycomp AWS Engineers and Architect time (1-3 month plan) towards remediation.
