This is a free edition of the software, so you pay no license fee to the vendor. Pricing here reflects the AWS compute you choose to run it on. You select from a range of hourly EC2 instance types, priced per hour of use. The options span the c6i compute-optimized instances at different sizes: xlarge, 2xlarge, 4xlarge, and 8xlarge. Larger instance sizes provide more compute capacity for higher session and call volumes. You pick the size that matches your traffic needs and only pay while instances run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The c6i instances are compute-optimized types. The xlarge, 2xlarge, 4xlarge, and 8xlarge sizes step up in vCPU and memory. Larger sizes provide more processing headroom. A single SBC instance can handle over 100,000 concurrent sessions and about 1,000 sessions per second, using multi-core resources for software transcoding.
Because this edition is free, you pay no software license fee at any time. Hourly charges reflect only the AWS compute you run. A fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly compute charges. Attached storage may still incur separate AWS fees while the instance is stopped, but not running-hour charges.
You can pick a larger c6i size for more capacity per instance. You can also run several instances and combine them with central element management and FCAPS control. Each running instance is billed per hour independently, so your total cost is the sum of active instance-hours across the deployment.

Usage instructions
When an Enghouse SBC instance is launched from this AMI, the service would be up and running. BorderNet Product is fully managed through Web UI Access newly deployed BorderNet using https://<Instance-IP> Initial login is: username = AWSMANAGER / password = <Instance-ID> SSH access is allowed. Login with username=rocky and ssh key provided during Instance Launch. ATTN: Initial deployment might take ~10m depend on cloud traffic.
