Network Topology Agent provides topology intelligence as a service, turning log files and network diagrams into a queryable, real-time graph. It enables teams to analyze network structure, detect changes, and ensure secure, efficient operations.
Network Topology Agent transforms network logs and topology diagrams into a structured graph that can be queried through API endpoints. Built around the concept of filegroups, each dataset is isolated, reproducible, and tied to a specific tenant or workspace. The agent ingests logs or PNG diagrams and converts them into a canonical topology graph of nodes and edges representing physical links, IP mappings, VLANs, and VRRP relationships.
This topology graph allows users to ask powerful questions such as what changed between deploys, whether lateral movement is occurring, or how proposed network changes might impact availability. Teams can extract subgraphs, analyze edge types, or visualize overlays on demand. Whether used for zero-trust audits, incident response, or forward-looking network planning, the agent delivers consistent, programmatic access to the real-time structure of enterprise networks.
Unlike traditional dashboards, Network Topology Agent enables automation, reproducibility, and compliance-ready snapshots, treating your network like a living digital twin you can monitor, reason over, and secure.

You pay based on usage, measured by successful API requests. Each API request that completes successfully counts toward your bill. There is one pricing dimension, so your cost scales directly with how many successful requests you make. You are not charged a fixed subscription or committed quantity under this model. As your request volume grows, your total cost grows in step with it. This agent turns log files and topology data into a queryable graph, and each API call driving that work is billed individually.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one successful API request for billing?
Each API call that completes without error counts as one billable request. The agent processes log files and topology images through these calls, turning them into a queryable graph. Failed or unsuccessful calls do not count. Your bill reflects the total number of successful requests you make.
Am I charged when I make no API requests?
No. Charges apply only per successful API request. If you send no requests, you accrue no software charges under this dimension. There is no fixed subscription or committed minimum. Your cost rises and falls directly with the number of successful requests completed in a billing period.
Do failed or retried API requests add to my cost?
Only successful requests count toward billing. A request that does not complete successfully is not charged. If you retry a failed call and it then completes successfully, that successful attempt counts. This means your bill reflects completed work rather than every attempt you send.

Vendor refund policy
Articul8 charges only for successful API requests. Failed or incomplete requests are excluded from billing. Refunds or credits may be issued if a failed request was misclassified or usage was misattributed. Requests must be submitted within 15 days with relevant logs. Refunds are typically issued as credits; monetary refunds are only provided in cases of billing errors.

Network Topology Agent
The Network Topology Agent is a comprehensive visualization and management system that processes network configurations and diagrams to create detailed network topology graphs.
It employs AI algorithms to extract, analyze, and represent complex network infrastructures as queryable knowledge graphs, enabling infrastructure teams to gain visibility into their network environments.
Key Benefits
Processing network device configurations to extract topology information and connection metadata
Analyzing network diagrams (.png files only) using multimodal AI to extract structured topology data
Intelligent topology fusion and deduplication across multiple information sources
Graph-based topology analysis and querying for advanced network insights
API-driven architecture enabling programmatic access and integration with existing tools
Quick Start Guide
Ingest files via POST request to /filegroups/ingest
Process the ingested files into relevant topologies via POST request to /filegroups/{filegroup_name}/process
Return analyses of the underlying network topologies via GET request to either:
get information on the topology itself with /topology/{filegroup_name}/nodes or /topology/{filegroup_name}/edge_types
get subgraph information with /topology/{filegroup_name}/subgraph
