PillarX - Automated, Organization-Wide Well-Architected Reviews

PillarX is an automated Well-Architected Review platform that continuously assesses every AWS account across your organization against the AWS Well-Architected Framework - without agents, without manual audits, and without ever writing to your environment. Point WARX at your AWS Organization with a single read-only IAM role, and it evaluates every account, every Region, and every workload against all six Well-Architected pillars: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability.

For each account, PillarX generates two outputs: the standard AWS Well-Architected Tool report your team already knows, and an enhanced native PillarX report layered on top — with quantified pillar-by-pillar scores, prioritized remediation guidance, and account-to-account benchmarking so you can see where risk is concentrated across a large estate at a glance, not one workload review at a time. Reviews run on a recurring schedule, so drift is caught automatically instead of at the next scheduled audit.

Related AWS services: WARX integrates with AWS Well-Architected Tool and AWS Organizations, and connects to customer accounts exclusively through AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles assumed via AWS Security Token Service (STS), scoped to read-only permissions. WARX does not provision, modify, or write to any resource in the customer's AWS account, and does not require the deployment of an agent. Customers should not expect additional AWS infrastructure charges from WARX's operation beyond standard, negligible API read-request costs already covered under normal AWS usage.
