AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay based on how many active subscribers you serve each month. The pricing uses banded tiers: 0-50,000, 50,001-100,000, 100,001-150,000, and 150,001-200,000 subscribers per month. These tiers are non-cumulative, so your count falls into one band each month. A separate rate applies to each inactive subscriber per month. A monthly minimum platform fee covers up to 42,850 subscribers, setting a base charge regardless of your active count. Together these dimensions bill you for active volume, inactive subscribers, and a fixed monthly floor.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
How is one active subscriber counted for billing each month?
An active subscriber is a paying user managed on the platform during the month. The platform tracks subscriptions, entitlements, and access per user. Your active count determines which band you fall into. Inactive subscribers are billed under a separate per-subscriber rate instead of the active bands.
If my active subscriber count grows past a band limit, which rate applies?
Your monthly count places you into one band that month. The bands are non-cumulative, so crossing a limit moves you into the next band for that period. The band matches your current active volume rather than splitting charges across multiple bands.
How do the active bands, inactive rate, and minimum platform fee combine on my bill?
Three charges can appear together. The active band charge reflects your monthly active subscriber volume. The inactive rate applies per inactive subscriber. The monthly minimum platform fee sets a base charge covering up to 42,850 subscribers, applying regardless of your active count.
