Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
In the AWS Console, confirm you are in the correct AWS Region and visit the Amazon EC2 instances page. Select the instance you launched and view the Status Checks tab at the bottom of the page to review if your status checks passed or failed. Once the instance is running, connect to it using a SSH client with the username 'ubuntu' with your designated keypair or by right clicking the instance in the EC2 console and selecting Connect. There are no other logins configured to be used with this instance. Once connected via SSH, follow the displayed instructions to complete the server configuration.

Efficient web development tool
An easy-to-setup tool that can be used to automate repetitive tasks
What is our primary use case?
During the first six months of using the solution, I worked to automate our daily tasks. In general, we use it to automate our day-to-day tasks and for integration. With the integration part, I was not working previously. I have created a few scenarios where I need to update some fields in our projects from the backend. For example, in my previous organization, we had around 40,000 thousand projects to manage using the tool. We received some requirements from our clients that they need to add and modify the project templates. They need to add a few more topics, more custom forms, and some topics to the templates. After making a few additions to the templates, it applied to all the new projects for which the templates were used. However, it was very difficult for our existing projects since the additions to the templates were not applied to them. To update the same thing in our existing projects, if we go one by one, would be time-consuming since we have 40,000 projects. With 40,000 projects, if I go one by one with adding the new updates, routing rules, and custom forms, it will take around five to ten minutes per project. For that, I had to create scenarios. With those scenarios itself, the solution was working and submitting everything in ten to fifteen minutes.
What is most valuable?
I would like to say that its best feature is its different kinds of connectors. We have lots of in-built connectors. If they do not have any real connectors, then they have an HTTP module and SMTP module, with which we can connect to any web application.
What needs improvement?
Currently, they have some legacy connectors with different tools, and they are creating native connectors. For example, AEM was only using HTTP or SMTP connections. However, now, AEM also has a native connector. In Adobe Workfront, if we use those connectors, we can push data through them. Previously there were no in-built connectors for Power BI and the dashboard. Now I see that connectors are there in Adobe ColdFusion though I have not used them yet. Previously when I was trying to create some data, it was very difficult to get real-time data from Workfront. I would like to say that it could be an area of improvement if it was possible to get real-time data, and we can create some connectors like the ones on Power BI or Tableau. Now we have the option with which we can schedule a time, like one or two hours, five times a day, allowing us to push the data with Power BI or an external tool. However, with real-time data, it's really difficult now.
For ColdFusion, since I do not have that much expertise, I would say that whatever issue I face, I will resolve them. For that, I would like to get real-time data using the tool. Hence, I would like to get a real-time dashboard all the time.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Adobe ColdFusion for around three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It is stable while also being a great product.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Considering all the people working on Workfront, not all have access to Adobe ColdFusion. Only the senior members use the solution, so half our company which is around 560 people, have access to the solution.
How are customer service and support?
I can give a good rating to the technical support since they have been creating a lot of templates, like the best practice scenario templates that they have put into the template section. We can use some templates directly while also being able to modify them according to our scenarios.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We chose the solution over others since we use other products from Adobe. It was chosen for its features and support, which makes it competitive compared to other products while considering that ColdFusion and Workfront are from Adobe.
What other advice do I have?
I would suggest that you use the tool because it's a very good tool. If you are using Workfront, then it's very useful to use ColdFusion. Whatever tasks you are doing, especially repetitive work that you are doing daily, can be automated using the tool.
I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.
