• Conduct cross-functional sessions and workshops to uncover critical business requirements, risk factors, transformation goals, and data needs across teams.
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the client's infrastructure to build a clear, data-driven business case for a data solution using AWS Migration Evaluator.
• Conduct a Comparative total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to contrast current operational costs with cloud-based alternatives at a high level to build a preliminary corresponding cloud architecture for an analytical solution using AWS Pricing Calculator and AWS Optimization and Licensing Assessment (AWS OLA).
• Conduct a cost comparison analysis to evaluate current hardware, software, maintenance, and operational costs against projected cloud expenses, including compute, storage, licensing, and support to identify opportunities for right-sizing resources, eliminating underutilized assets, and leveraging cloud pricing models with AWS Migration Evaluator.

Enable Phase:

• Create a detailed plan for migrating workloads to the cloud, capturing the overall effort required for Migration. It includes scope management, workload migration, timeline and budget management, resource planning, risk management, governance, coordination, and communication plans with the help of AWS services like AWS Application Discovery Service and AWS Migration Hub.
• Build a secure and scalable cloud environment that provides a foundational setup for running workloads in the cloud, which serves as a foundational space for future workloads that will be migrated from the current infrastructure using AWS Landing Zone and AWS Control Tower.

Deliverables provided by the Sigma Software team: Discovery report Prepare a summary report containing findings and documented features of the Assess phase of the current relevant organizational and infrastructure landscapes involved in the requested data need. Tech roadmap Prepare a technical document that contains a potential solution state overview with pros and cons, solution architecture, infrastructure, and deployment diagrams, and a set of engineering development steps to implement a designed analytical solution based on AWS data-related services like AWS DMS, AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Kinesis, AWS Glue, Amazon DynamoDB, AWS S3, Amazon Redshift, etc. Realization approach Prepare a development and collaboration approach, including calculations for implementation costs, and a final proposal presentation that identifies assumptions and risks.
