Log10x is a log optimization engine that installs beside an existing log forwarder (Fluent Bit, Fluentd, Filebeat, Logstash, the OpenTelemetry Collector or Vector) as a Kubernetes sidecar or DaemonSet, an AWS Lambda extension, or an Azure container, and cuts what reaches Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, CloudWatch or any other log analyzer.
It cuts cost three ways. Compaction reduces repetitive log lines by 50 to 80 percent losslessly, with a Splunk app, a plugin for self-hosted Elasticsearch, or a ClickHouse view expanding them back at search time. Tier-down routes noisy patterns to the analyzer's cheaper storage, such as Datadog Flex Logs or CloudWatch Infrequent Access. Offload moves patterns to your own S3 and fetches them back on demand through the Retriever.
Log content never reaches Log10x, and the engine verifies its license offline. An AI agent such as Claude Code or Cursor drives configuration through the Log10x MCP server, and the resulting config lands as a pull request in your own repository.

You buy Log10x as a contract priced by node count, not log volume. A node is a server, container, or pod that runs a Log10x collector. The five tiers scale by how many infrastructure nodes you cover: Starter up to 30, Team up to 100, Growth up to 300, Business up to 1,200, and Enterprise up to 2,500. Every tier includes all Log10x apps and unlimited log volume. You pick the tier matching your node count. There are no per-GB, per-query, or per-seat charges layered on top.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one node for billing, and do pods or serverless functions add to the count?
A node is a server, container, or pod running a Log10x collector. Kubernetes worker nodes count; individual pods on them do not. Central aggregators count as their instance count. Fargate or similar container services count 10 concurrent tasks as one node. Lambda and other serverless functions are free and not counted.
What happens to my bill when log traffic spikes or an incident floods our logs?
Nothing changes. Your tier is set by node count, not log volume, so traffic spikes add zero cost. Tiers ride a P90 baseline of node count over 30 days, so a one-day autoscale burst does not push you into a new tier.
What happens if my node count crosses a tier limit? Are there overage penalties?
There is no per-GB overage meter, so spikes and floods do not change the bill. Tiers are set on your P90 node count over 30 days, which you count yourself. Crossing a tier prompts a manual one-click upgrade, never an automatic charge. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the billing cycle.

Log10x offers a 14-day refund policy from the date of subscription. To request a refund, contact support@log10x.com. Refunds are prorated for annual contracts cancelled after the 14-day window. Monthly contracts can be cancelled at any time and will not renew at the end of the billing period.
