Your choices are grouped into three instance families: t3 for general-purpose burstable workloads, m5 for balanced compute and memory, and c5 and c6i for compute-focused workloads. Within each family, you pick a size — large, xlarge, or 2xlarge — with larger sizes providing more CPU and memory. Pricing scales with the size and family you select, letting you match capacity to your search workload.

The rate covers the EC2 instance you run this appliance on, billed per hour it runs. This listing is free, so no software license charge applies. Fully stopped instances stop accruing hourly compute charges, though attached AWS storage may still incur separate fees.
The appliance searches private IPs across AWS accounts and VPCs, including overlapping IPs. Choose t3 sizes for occasional, burstable searches. Pick m5 for balanced compute and memory. Use c5 or c6i when searches are compute-intensive. Larger sizes add CPU and memory for heavier workloads.
You pay hourly with no upfront commitment. Charges accrue only while your chosen instance runs. There is no license fee for the software itself. You can stop the instance any time to end compute charges, making it suited to on-demand or intermittent search tasks.

Version release notes
This release has significant improvement with caching. Now request will be cached for 10 min to provide faster response to VPC IP Search. This will improve IP or VP IP range search within seconds.
