Usage instructions
- Create Instance from AMI. Retrieve the password from the AWS EC2 console by selecting your instance, Click on Connect for selected Instance, select choosing RDP Client and Get Windows Password, and providing your EC2 key pair to decrypt and log in.
- Connect to the Instance via RDP: Use Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc) on your Windows or Mac machine. In the Computer field, enter: <your-ec2-public-ip> Use the Administrator username and retrieve the password from the AWS EC2 console by selecting your instance, choosing Get Windows Password, and providing your EC2 key pair to decrypt and log in.
- Verify CouchDB Installation : Once connected, open Command Prompt (cmd) or PowerShell. Check service status : Get-Service -Name "Apache CouchDB" , Check if port 5984 is listening : netstat -an | findstr 5984 , Use Invoke-WebRequest to check HTTP response : Invoke-WebRequest -Uri http://127.0.0.1:5984Â , Alternatively, open a web browser and navigate to: http://127.0.0.1:5984/_utils/Â or http://<your-server-ip>:5984/_utils/
- Default Credentials : Username: admin and Password: Cloudwrxs@123 , CouchDB Cookie value for communicating between CouchDB instances : Cloudwrxs@123
