Cloudscaler’s Digital Sovereignty Risk and Compliance Framework is built on the Cloudscaler Cloud Control Framework (CCF) and provides a comprehensive, structured approach to managing risk, governance, and compliance when adopting the AWS European Sovereign Cloud (ESC).
The framework brings together proven guidelines, best practices, and control patterns covering all aspects of cloud deployment and operation, including security, compliance, governance, risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery. It is designed to help organisations establish strong sovereign-by-design controls that support regulatory obligations, audit requirements, and operational assurance.
Aligned with Cloudscaler’s Enhanced Landing Zone (ELZ) architecture, the framework supports the creation of a ready-to-operate AWS environment that can evolve alongside workloads, compliance frameworks, and strategic objectives. Cloudscaler works alongside customer teams to tailor, configure, and operationalise the framework, ensuring ongoing alignment with governance, cost management, and security posture as sovereign cloud adoption matures. The service supports AWS European Sovereign Cloud adoption using AWS-native services and governance patterns, in line with AWS Marketplace policies and public AWS documentation.
