Financing for AWS Marketplace purchases

Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
This contract combines two pricing dimensions. Product Access grants your subscription to the medical coding tool, which supports structured clinical documentation and ICD-10 coding. Per API request charges apply on top of that access, billed at a set rate for each API call you make. Your total cost scales with usage: the more API requests you send, the more you pay under that dimension, while Product Access covers your right to use the product itself.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each call your system sends to the coding service counts as one API request. The set per-request rate applies to every call individually. Sending more calls raises that portion of your bill. There is no included bundle described, so each request meters separately.
Both charges apply at the same time. Product Access grants your right to use the medical coding tool. The per-request charge adds a set amount for each API call you make. Access covers the subscription; API requests drive the usage-based portion. Higher call volume raises the request total.
The per-request charge accrues only when you send API calls. If you make no calls, no request charges apply for those calls. Product Access remains the dimension that grants your subscription and use of the product regardless of call volume.
