Matera Digital Twin - High Performance Ledger for Financial Institutions

     Info

    Deployed on AWS
Digital Twin is a high performance light ledger built to match modern customer expectations. Its scalable, real-time transaction authorizations and balance updates give customers the immediate account updates they deserve so they can confidently make purchases, redeem points and move money.

    Overview

Digital Twin is a ledger for modern instant payments and allows financial accounts to perform real-time transaction authorizations and balance updates 24/7. To deal with the need for fast performance and accessibility, Digital Twin manages a variety of balances, including DDA accounts, credit card limits, loyalty points, and cryptocurrency balances. It can work as a standalone solution or with different core banking systems as a light ledger, meaning it can control the balance without delving into the regulatory aspects of a DDA account, or a credit card account. It can also be deployed in multiple cloud providers and platforms.

At its core, Digital Twin emphasizes user satisfaction. Instead of seeking to entirely replace existing DDA systems, its aim is to enhance them. Even when legacy DDAs experience downtime or encounter high transaction volumes, Digital Twin ensures a continuous user experience. Core banking activities continue to be handled by the original DDA, eliminating the need for a complete switch to an entirely new banking system, which is often seen as a complex undertaking.
