Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for this software running on an Amazon EC2 instance. The price you pay depends only on the EC2 instance type you pick. Each dimension maps to one instance type, spanning general purpose, compute, memory, storage, and accelerated GPU families in many sizes. Smaller instances cost less per hour; larger instances with more CPU, memory, or GPU cost more. You are billed for hours the instance runs, with no upfront commitment. The software is delivered as a preconfigured image you launch on AWS.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each hourly dimension maps to one Amazon EC2 instance type. The instance type sets your CPU, memory, storage, and any GPU or accelerator hardware. Larger instance sizes provide more of these resources. You pick the type that fits your workload, and the software runs on that instance.
The software fee meters running hours only. A stopped or fully powered-off instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Note that stopped instances can still incur separate AWS storage fees for the attached disk. Restarting the instance resumes the hourly software charge automatically.
This is usage-based billing with no upfront commitment. You pay by the hour for the hours the instance runs. You can start or stop the instance at any time, and charges stop when it stops. This suits variable or short-term workloads where you do not want a fixed term.
