Overview
Covenant Monitoring is an AWS-based solution designed to help lenders, credit teams and portfolio managers streamline financial covenant oversight. It brings together document processing, configurable covenant checks, deterministic risk scoring, human review and evidence packaging within a controlled workflow.The solution uses AWS Step Functions for orchestration and specialist agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, with MCP tools connecting document, rules, storage and audit capabilities. Versioned rules support consistent evaluation, while high-risk findings are routed for an authorised reviewer’s decision before evidence packaging. Evidence references and checksums support traceability and integrity verification.Designed for extensibility, Covenant Monitoring provides a foundation for integrating additional document sources, covenant types, reporting capabilities and enterprise systems. It helps teams reduce repetitive checking, standardise exception handling and improve visibility into covenant compliance.
