You buy this product through a contract, priced by usage across independent dimensions. Two dimensions bill by channel: you pay per voice session and per digital session. The remaining dimensions bill per session for specific patient-facing agents, including appointment scheduling, MyChart support, billing and payments, health insurance, lab and test results, medication management, symptom check, and medical records. Each agent works across both voice and digital channels. You select only the agents you need. Costs scale with the number of sessions each agent handles, so spending tracks patient interaction volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one voice session versus one digital session for billing?
A voice session covers a patient interaction over the phone or contact center voice channel. A digital session covers an interaction through your website or patient portal chat. Each completed patient conversation counts as one session on its channel. You are billed per session, so counts track patient interactions.
If I add more agents, how do the charges combine on one bill?
Each agent bills independently per session, and channel session dimensions bill separately too. Charges add together, not multiply. Your total reflects the sum of session counts across the agents you deploy. The agents handling the most patient interactions drive the largest portion of your bill.
Do I have to buy every agent, or can I pick only the ones I need?
You select only the agents you want, such as appointment scheduling, MyChart support, billing, insurance, lab results, medication management, symptom check, or medical records. Each is a separate per-session dimension. You are charged only for the agents you deploy and the sessions they handle.

Robust Platform with Potential for UI Improvements
Reviewed on Jun 26, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I am very impressed with Avaamo. I've gone through their training and built my assessment agent. I really like the thoughtfulness of the Avaamo studio. The function feature is what I like the most. I appreciate how the AI agents respect and follow the prompts, and how functions execute, allowing me to write declarations and definitions of the functions, which gives me reassurance. It helps me configure agents very efficiently, letting me stay in control. Compared to other AI platforms, Avaamo is powerful, easy to use, and robust.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe, compared to other platforms, the UI looks a bit dated. It's not super fancy, and I've seen better, but I'm just nitpicking here. The UI is a bit less fluid and responsive compared to some other platforms. But that's, again, a very small issue. I'm nitpicking here. Also, the initial setup wasn't the easiest or simplest thing because I had to complete a long training that was almost seven hours long, and then I had to do assignments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avaamo integrates different channels and allows efficient configuration of AI agents, supporting JavaScript across agents, debugging, and respecting prompts. This platform feels powerful, easy to use, and robust, giving me control over my configurations.
