Data Acceleration Assessment (Complimentary for Start-ups)

For many organizations, this means that they have to shift from a legacy system to a modernized environment, or reassess their current architecture to address performance issues. In Commit’s complimentary Data Acceleration workshop, we will assess your data-related needs and support you in choosing the correct strategy, tools and processes to make the most from your data in a robust pipeline which is also cost-efficient.

The intent of this engagement is to provide prescriptive architectural guidance, sharing best practices, and removing technical roadblocks. Customers leave the engagement with:

1. Review of the current system and the challenge to be addressed
2. Recommendations for an improved data and analytics tool stack appropriate to your needs
3. An architectural diagram to support those recommendations
4. A path to production, including level of effort, high level requirements document, and costs associated

• Project kickoff and planning (2 days)

o Session(s) to:

• Review Project outline and timelines
• Define working backlog and milestones
• Review baseline documentation of current environment from Customer
  • Including, but not limited to customer’s existing architecture, vision, data sources, data protection requirements, etc.

• Design (6 days)

• Deliver data acceleration workshop
• Facilitate strategic decisions for data activities in scope of this engagement
• Review existing process governance, frameworks, standards, and controls
• If necessary, perform small POC to illustrate feasibility & value of product recommendations

• Deliver (2 days)

• Prepare recommendation document. Includes things such as:
  • Proposal and Level of Effort for implementation
  • Review all architecture, diagrams, implementation guides, and other documentation developed in support of the engagement
  • Estimated AWS Cost Calculator with recommended implementations
  • 1-hour Customer review session
