ELEKS Modernization Assessment & Roadmap is a fixed-scope, AI-assisted professional services engagement designed for organizations that need to modernize a business-critical legacy application or clearly bounded domain on AWS, but first requires a validated scope, target architecture vision, risk view, and execution roadmap.

Over three weeks, ELEKS combines AI-accelerated codebase discovery with senior architecture expertise and proven assessment frameworks, including AWS Well-Architected Framework, AWS Cloud Adoption Framework, TOGAF, and SEI. The engagement helps compress discovery and hypothesis validation while keeping key architecture decisions human-owned and aligned with business priorities.

The assessment begins with exploration for modernization. ELEKS reviews the representative codebase, available documentation, and then documents system context, dependencies, integrations, deployment layout, technology stack, and business scenarios. Stakeholder workshops are used to validate gaps, clarify business drivers, and define the target modernization scope. This phase produces an as-is baseline architecture view and an initial to-be architecture hypothesis.

The roadmap phase refines the target architecture vision and translates it into an incremental modernization plan.
